Black Cowgirl Costume

- I need to find a cowgirl costume for school?
My school is having an old time country fair. I need to dress up like a cowgirl. i have these boots from styles for less there black and there not very cowgirl. I also want to find a cute cowgirl hat. I have black hair. pictures would be nice too. thanks :)

A GO OP SHOPPING whenever my friends and me need a costume we hit the op shops and there is always HEAPS of great stuff. Just get an old straw hat and pin the sides up, a checkered shirt (you could tie it up at the front and roll the sleaves up) and some ripped jeans to go with the boots. - Suggestions for a cowgirl costume?
I need a cowgirl costume. I have black cowboy boots, red cowboy-style boots, a cowboy hat, and bandanas. Being a teenage girl, it has to be cute but it can't be very revealing. Any ideas on hair, makeup, or a shirt? I was thinking of buying a cheap plaid button-down and tying it at the bottom with a cami under it, with a jean skirt. What do you think? Any ideas?

A well the idea you have is a good one. you could also try cut off shorts or jeans tucked into the boots. i would try wearing the bandana under the cowboy hat or some pigtails with the bandana tied around them (you could cut a small strip off of the bandana so its not so big) and then the cowboy hat over that. i think some toy guns on a belt would be a cute addition.
